Today we’re speaking to Todd Garelick, a principal overhauling the entire culture of his school to support college and career readiness. He tells us about building a college-going culture from the ground up, how relationships are key to building strong students, and to remember “it’s all about the kids”.
Todd has been the Principal at Mountain View High School in Tucson for the last two years. Prior to this he was the Associate Principal and Athletic Director for 6 years. Before moving to Tucson Todd was the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Ruidoso High School in New Mexico. He is also a Director of Coaching for Tucson Soccer Academy.
