About Jeff

Jeff Ream thought he was going to be an aerospace engineer. But it didn’t take long before he returned to his family pursuit of educating. Thus he became a school counselor, which is both his job and passion. He is active in California’s leadership for school counselors and has served on the board of the California Association of School Counselors since 2014 as the Tech Chairperson.

He is also the owner of and blogger at The Counseling

About the School

North Tahoe High School is a public high school located in Tahoe City, CA and has over 300 students. They were recently given California’s Title 1 Academic Achievement Award. They were also awarded a six-year accreditation period from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
